Krakow - Poland March 2022
Day 1 - Travel.
For Matts Birthday, in March of 2022, we decided on a small trip to Poland. We have always wanted to visit the country and we decided to start with Krakow.
Poland was all that was promised and more and we cant wait to return. xx

Leaving Home

On our way. Every journey starts with a ferry so off to Yarmouth we go. Off to the Mainland we go.

Ships Ahoy!
On the ferry from Yarmouth to Lymington. We are so exited to be travelling to Poland. Another new country for us. But first, off to the mainland and a short night in Bournemouth before we fly out tomorrow

Now to catch the train
20 min wait for the train. Might walk to town?

Our own train!
2 passengers, 4 carriages, 11 minutes. What a luxurious way to travel.

A bed for the night
First nights kip at a lovely Airbnb near Bournemouth city centre. Only there for 7 hours but it was clean, warm and had a talking cat.

Early Start
Off to catch our flight. Up at 5am followed by a short walk back to Bournemouth train station and then the bus to the airport. Seem less transport but there’s no coffee (or chai tea)

And off we go
Up into the sky and on our way. Krakow here we come at last!

We have arrived
After a lovely flight we touched down in Krakow. Found the bus stop, bought the tickets (£1.20 each for a 40 min ride.) just waiting to leave the airport and head into Krakow.

First meal in Poland
Found a lovely restaurant called Veganic about 5 mins from the main square. We ordered, for starters, Hummus with Roasted Beetroot and Sweet Potato Fries. Becky had Oyster Mushroom Chops on Purée with Roasted Garlic and I had Brooked Spaghetti with Avocado.
