Paris - February 2020

We travelled to Venice in 2019 to visit the Vitruvian Man inside the Gallerie dell'Accademia. They had lent it out at the time so we left disappointed.

When we heard that there was going to be a show of the biggest da Vinci collection in the world at the Louvre in Paris, we brought tickets and hopped on a flight... Paris here we come.

Finally Da Vinci.

Spent a wonderful day wandering through the Da Vinci exhibit at the Louvre.

Found the collection to be outstanding with a wide range of his earlier works through to his final piece. Sadly the Italians had already removed the Vitruvian Man and returned it to Venice. We are literally the unluckiest admirers know to man!

On the way home...

On our way home we spent a lovely couple of hours wandering through the Bastille Market. Everything a person could want or need food wise. Beautiful stalls and amazing smells made for a wonderful experience.
