Stop number 6 on our adventure.
Very excited to finally see the infamous tower and really see how far it leans.
Cant wait to explore come with us.

Amazing Accomodation
We spent our time in Pisa "slumming" it on the top floor of a stunning medieval tower. Couldn't have asked for better.

The Tower!
Finally we have arrived at the main attraction. The tower and surrounding buildings are truly fabulous and yes it really leans..
Build started in 1173 and took 200 years to complete. The tower started leaning in 1178 yet they just continued!

Pisa Cathedral
Work began on the Cathedral in 1063 and was completed in 1092. It is the oldest of the 3 structures within the Duomo. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Pisa. Truly stunning.

The Baptistery
Building began in 1152 and wasn't completed until 1363. It is the largest baptistery in Italy and is stunning. The sheer size is mind-blowing and the acoustics are like nothing I have ever heard.

Strange finds
Fairly sure that we left the UK behind but so far have seen a "London" eye and these fabulous Red Phone boxes We are in Italy honest!!
